Hon. Mr. Justice Timothy Katanekwa is the Judge-in-Charge of the Kitwe High Court. He was appointed to the High Court on 26th March, 1996. Justice Katanekwa holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the bar in 1982.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Katanekwa taught as a lecturer at Teachers Vocation Training College in 1984. He also lectured, part time, in Civil and Criminal Procedure Commercial Law at the University of Zambia from 1995 to 1998. Justice Katanekwa continued as Lecturer for UNZA extension studies in Law .
